The AVSSC currently has members who are certified by the Nova Scotia Chief Firearms Officer as Instructors and Examiners for the delivery of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course.
All courses are administered by Safety Services Nova Scotia.
