How can I try a different shooting disciplines that I don’t normally participate in?
Contact the section chair of the discipline that you are interested in. You can contact section chairs by using the Contact Us form.
How do I complete my probationary period?
Probationary members must attend an orientation session and complete at least four training sessions to learn and demonstrate safe shooting practices. After the end of each session your probationary card must be signed by the instructor. While on probation please the list provided to you in your welcome package to contact authorized instructors.
What are the range hours?
The outdoor firearm ranges are available Monday to Friday – 8:00am to sunset but no later then 8:00pm and Saturday to Sunday – 9:00am to sunset but no later then 8:00pm. The club house, indoor range and archery ranges are available 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
Where do I leave garbage or waste?
Please remove all garbage including targets and other waste from the club house and all ranges when you leave the AVSSC.

The Hunter Education Course can now be completed Online.
